Abstract
After an election the MPs are assigned to certain committees within a special field. Before recommendations are presented to the Norwegian parliament (the Storting), drafts of the bills are thoroughly scrutinized by the committees. If necessary they will add comments and propose changes. The Archive of Remarks in Recommendations contains these remarks. In addition the archive also includes:
- Which parties and MPs that are responsible for the remarks
- Name of committee and its members
- Type of recommendation
- Parliament session
All in all the archive provides data that enables research on coalition patterns among political parties in the Storting.
