Abstract
The older Archive of Non-Profit Organisations is a collection of surveys about nation-wide voluntary organisations. Data is collected by questionnaire for the years 1964, 1971, 1976, 1983 and 1992.
The questionnaire varies between years. The data mainly cover information about foundations, structure, administration, members, publications, tasks, membership in public advisory committees, finance, recourses, international contacts etc.
Here, an organisation is part of the population if it is nation-wide, voluntary based and non-commercial. Not all organisations have answered the questionnaire every year. Hence it may be difficult to follow the development of single organisations.
